Homemakers and Companions
Mandatory
- Hold a valid Social Security Card.
- Present a valid Driver’s License or Photo ID.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid Employment Authorization Document (EAD) to work in the U.S.
- Undergo a Level 2 Criminal Background Check.
- Submit a statement of being free from communicable diseases, dated within the last six months (not signed by a chiropractor).
- Complete one hour of HIV/AIDS Training.
- Complete three hours of Alzheimer’s Training.
- Provide previous work references.
Recommended / Optional
- Possess an Employee Identification Number (EIN).
- Obtain Professional Liability Insurance.
- Obtain Occupational Accident Insurance.
- Have a current Vehicle Registration if using your vehicle for transportation.
- Maintain active Auto Insurance if using your vehicle for transportation.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA)
Mandatory
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License or Photo ID.
- Hold a Social Security Card.
- Have a Current FL CNA license or proof of a minimum of 40 hours of Home Health Aide Training from an FDoE or DOH approved school or program.
- Provide an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) to work in the U.S.
- Complete a Level 2 Criminal Background Check.
- Submit a communicable disease statement dated within the last six months (not signed by a chiropractor).
- Obtain CPR certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
- Complete one hour of HIV/AIDS Training.
- Complete three hours of Alzheimer’s Training.
- Complete two hours of Self-Administration of Medication Training.
- Provide previous work references.
Recommended / Optional

- Complete a Level 2 Criminal Background Check.
